*Peeks round corner with Sketch and Quick Flint (OCs)* Get number three and the helm from one. Sketch: On it. *starts sketching rapidly* Flint, you know what to do if we get caught. Quick Flint: Yep, Distract while you to get the real thing
I like #3, it has the best helmet shape and it's the most practical as armor. The first is more tribal and the second has an unbalanced apportionment of jutting shapes and close fabric. #3 has a good balance c:
1>3>2 imho NMM is like battle mage (sorcerer/dark mage). A bit of armor here and there, rest cloth/robe, long black cape and feather muffler/collar. Her gloves could be a bit longer on 1 (elbow gloves with metal ornaments) + shoulders from number 2 (a bit smaller maybe)
My own preference would be the headpiece, wings and arms on 1, the torso of 3 (I don't think NMM would flash cleavage, she'd find that to be beneath her), and the hips of 2 over the legs of 1 (but with the pants from 2/3).
^ What she said. LOL I think you're right, NMM doesn't strike me as the type to show a whole lot of skin, for whatever reason. Also, the feather things from design 1 are the closest thing to wings in this picture, and any NMM design just doesn't seem right to me without wings.
I like #1. By disposing with a lot of the armor and spiky bits, adding more fabrics and showing more skin, it hits more of a 'villainous sorceress' mark and has a trace of evil elegance to it. This seems like a good outfit to be both sexy and menacing in. I'd almost argue that the feathers are a little too much, but they don't really do anything to detract from it, so whatevs.
But I think my favorite is #3. That one looks particularly menacing, and by changing around some of the spiky protrusions and things it now looks not only a lot more practical, but a lot more thematic as well. THe wings on the helmet in particular were a good change. Also, good to see she actually has a decent breastplate this time.
